Describe the actual slot
An opening post should state the date, time, service, and any relevant duration or pet-size limits. Give one clear booking link or phone number. Remove or update the announcement when the slot is filled.
Use customer preferences
A relevant, opted-in waitlist is different from every former customer in the database. Check communication preferences and existing bookings before sending an opening notice or return message. Honor a request to stop across the channels your salon uses.
Make rebooking individual
Discuss timing using the pet’s actual coat, service, and the salon’s advice. A default interval is a planning setting, not a universal care recommendation. Avoid medical claims or assumptions based on an absence from the calendar.
Confirm in the booking system
A reply, click, or social comment is not necessarily a confirmed appointment. Use the existing booking system as the source of truth and make the customer’s confirmation process clear.
Grooming rebooking
Make your next opening easy for the right customer to book.
